NEWS UPDATE
We're back! Finally, here you are some news about the new record, slated to be released later in 2006. The biggest news is about the cover artwork: the band has inked a deal with none other than the mighty Ken Kelly, the man whose paintings graced masterpieces such as Manowar's finest releases, the groundbreaking Kiss output "Destroyer" and the Rainbow classic "Rising"!The chosen artpiece will be revealed in a later date. Expect something great. Moving on to the still untitled Crystal Empire debut album (due for release in late 2006 through Adrenaline Records): the band is still deep in writing mode, and the songs sound absolutely killer! The new record will be a lot heavier than the debut EP, featuring a wide range of sounds and influences, from Classic Metal riffs to some neck-snapping Thrash moments, all fully merged into Crystal Empire's trademark Progressive Power Metal. BREAKING NEWS
We promised huge news, and here they are for you...Crystal Empire has officially inked a recording deal with the italian Adrenaline/Steelheart Records label! The deal was reached upon the project of the band's debut full lenght album hopefully set for a 2006 release.Crystal Empire is sincerely proud to join Adrenaline/Steelheart Records' talent filled roster that features great Metal bands such as Rapid Fire, Seventh Seal and Frozen Tears among others. Again, stay tuned because the band is working with full force to bring you, loyal Crystal Empire fans, the best record they could possibly write! - 12th September 2005 -
Huge update
Finally, after a well deserved free month, we're back with a quite big update. First of all, due to its overwhelming success, the "Lord of Illusions" EP is now out of print. The band would like to thank everybody who bought our Cd and supported us: it really meant a lot to us.However, the songs included in our first promotional EP are now available for free download here at the Crystal Empire official website! Head to the Sound page to get the tracks. In other news, our Press Kit is now available for download right here. It's an useful tool for whoever would like to review "Lord of Illusions". It is available in two languages (Italian and English) and features everything one would ever need to know about Crystal Empire. Last but not least, the guys are still hard at work on the new songs that will be featured in the first Crystal Empire full lenght album. Stay tuned. - 12th August 2005 -
Small update
The Giovani Espressioni Contest, as you might know, came to an end a couple of weeks ago, and sadly Crystal Empire placed fourth...Well, the band made its way to the fourth place among 300 other bands,so it's not a bad result at all! Talking about new Crystal Empire music...the band has been working very hard on laying down some new tunes and everything is going well, the new stuff is promising at least! In the next two weeks there will be no updates in the site because of holidays. The band and me, the webmaster, would like to wish you happy and most important SAFE holidays. Enjoy the break because the upcoming one will be a hot winter for Crystal Empire: big news are on the way so stay tuned! See you! - 27th July 2005 -
